Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman III

Shubibinman III is undoubtedly one of the best games developed for the famous PC-Engine , the unforgotten first console produced by the electronics giant NEC. There is also the third episode of the series focuses on the adventures of two cute cyborg Tasuke and Kyapiko. The onset of this trend dates back to the distant 1989, the first attempt, unfortunately, turned out to be a platform for the more modest offering some gameplay too simple, although I had the honor of having introduced all the elements that were later taken over time from other games of that brand. Two years later, the total carat weight improved significantly with the publication of the first sequel, a title certainly much more sophisticated and attractive the previous one, although it took the distance for more than one aspect. With this chapter, at least for the "Consolina" of the NEC, the series finally reached a connotation more mature, able to assert themselves even in respect of titles developed for the machines competition. The story takes hold during the holidays of the above heroes, just as you enjoy a well earned rest in a sunny beach. Their attention is drawn to a huge ship which, having suddenly appeared dall'hyperspazio, runs at high speed towards the nearby metropolis. The ship is ruled by a mysterious princess and two of her bizarre bodyguards. Tasuke Kyapiko and, at least initially, but are unaware of the intentions from the start of the scenarios imagine anything but promising, like the awakening of some evil supernatural entity. Not to take any risks, they wear their armor science fiction, arm themselves with their swords, then head towards the town too.

Shubibinman 3, in terms of gameplay, stands as a successful amalgam of elements drawn from both "sidescroller" that the "platform game" intended purely as such. The levels, in other words, besides being nicely articulated, they also offer a range of interesting and original ideas aimed at making the most varied possible the normal flow of the game. The action is, as always, nell'assecondare scrolling background so as to reach the free end of each stage, the nature of the "scrolling", however, will change frequently be fixed, or otherwise bound, multi-directional, depending on the find that characterize different stages. Obviously, each level has many pitfalls and many obstacles must be overcome by using both traditional jumps that careful synchronization of operations. The countless enemies that infest the various layers can be eliminated by running a handful of attacks focused on the use of our trusty sword. The only weapon available is a special kind of energy ball that can be thrown after a few moments to load. The gameplay often be interrupted by the appearance of the inevitable boss that must be destroyed with more imaginative tactics. During the game, inoltre, non mancheremo di raccogliere power-up e bonus di ogni tipo.

Gli sprite sono large scale and take advantage of animations at least adequate, although in some frames no longer have certainly failed. The fund is of good quality sound, the music is definitely catchy as are sound effects that accompany the game. Finally, I add only that some elements of Shubibinman III, in particular the gameplay well-articulated and design of some boss, bring to mind, although in some ways, some details of the most successful productions of "Treasure", un'amatissima software house he never failed to surprise on the machines of the competition, just to make the idea of \u200b\u200bthe overall quality of this production.
