BONAPARTE TO A CARNIVAL CLUB NME! March 11!

Revolutionary not only their name but also their ability to show and performance. Somewhere between rock and roll, electro and indierock, Bonaparte, Berlin band led by the talented Swiss Tobias Jundt, have produced decidedly incendiary dance oriented tracks assembled from the samples recorded at the Berlin Zoo and irrepressible rhythm. Not only successful group but real traveling circus company: costumes, shows and amazing performance on stage with a strong impact on the public they are taking around the world in a sort of spectacular Carnival Rock 'n Roll Show! Hard to believe?! Ask the veterans of the last Magnolia Parade. Trust is good not to trust is better?! Take a trip on youtube and watch their videos. One who listens to music for modern electro but always around a disc of Pixies.Quest 'years will be more fun dressing up in carnival than usual.

Solaris 1.0.4.

"Solaris 1.0.4."

The gameplay of "Solaris 1.0.4." develops naturally like any other shooter, in practice we simply follow the movement of the scenario by destroying everything that appears before us, namely: endless waves of enemy ships, various obstacles and dozens of targets on the ground. As in any good shoot'em-up worthy of respect, the improved performance of our vessels are collecting the appropriate power-ups dropped by enemies hit, some of them allow you to change weapons in our facilities, From this point of view, the game offers: machine guns, cannons, missiles, lasers and plasma. Ciascun'arma can be enhanced several times in order to more effectively clean up a larger portion of the scenario. A special button also allows us to modify the deployment of weapons we have in our inventory. During the action, we also collect the "pods" that side as well as contributing actively to the general carnage, protect our ship from collision with the enemy. To extricate particularly chaotic situations dropped a "smart-bomb" or resort to a super devastating blow. To enable the above range do not have to fire until a special bar will not reach the minimum level required. Each collision with the enemy reduces the level of our shields, these, however, can be replenished by collecting the appropriate bonus. The ship also can also make use of a temporary screen energy, provided, however, have previously collected. From time to time, the normal flow of the game is interrupted by the inevitable boss to be defeated with the most varied strategies.

"Solaris 1.0.4." a shooter is quite playable, although there is no lack of situations sometimes very exhausting. The game is certainly not free of defects, one of the most is certainly annoying to some difficulty in determining with certainty what graphics scenario is effectively part of the game plan, a fact which often leads to unexpected collisions of the details of the background. Longevity, however, is characterized by the presence of thirteen levels, two different degrees of difficulty and the ability to automatically save our progress. The graphics are well done, the scrolling is smooth and is enhanced by several layers of parallax. The animations are mostly treated as they are well made all the lighting effects that decorate the scene and the many movies that introduce various levels of the game. This, unfortunately, is offset by a scenario that does not fill the entire screen, a frankly inexplicable technical solution for the timing of its implementation. The fund is also of good quality audio, the songs that accompany the action are certainly catchy and sound effects for the most effective. For the rest, despite the aforementioned flaws, "Solaris 1.0.4." remains a good shoot'em up unjustly mistreated by critics. Links:

A record produced by Diplo & Switch recorded between Jamaica, London and LA are definitely a great card for the new promise of stable Island Records (home of Robyn, Florence and the Machine and many others). The sound of Alex Clare is an interesting mixture of influences, blues, pop, rock and electronic, as is also the interesting idea to rely on a competition to design a video clip of the single "Relax My Beloved." Part manifesto of the disc, one that explicitly defines the spirit, with her slow to materialize and take shape, starting quietly and sipping indie record voice and sounds, building gradually before expanding into a kaleidoscopic climax. Club classic piece that you stick on him, easy listening, but not trivial piacione and forces you to constantly repeat.

The New York indie band led by frontman Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture and drummer Fabrizio Moretti has decided to give their fans a taste of their latest album with a brand new single, available for free on their official website. "Under cover of darkness" is the first from the new album "Angles" and at first listen seem to want to detach themselves from the ambitions of First Impressions of Earth (2006) tornando all’immediatezza dei primi lavori della band come Is This It(2001) e Room On Fire (2003). The Legacy

Every fifty years, the ancient manor of Winthrop is upset by strange paranormal phenomena, especially in dark nights you feel an unnatural glow above it as well as the mysterious glow fluorescent that cross in far and wide. As early as the nineteenth century should be read in the chronicles of the disturbing reports about the most worrying thing is, however, numerous complaints about the disappearance of all those who for one reason or another, they were to wander in its immediate vicinity. After the untimely demise of Prentiss, the last family known to have inhabited and as the last descendants of that dynasty, we have just inherited this mysterious building. Unfortunately for us, what at first appears to be an unexpected stroke of luck will change soon in our worst nightmares! One night, in fact, bring back the dark about what the official reports mentioned above, we venture recklessly into our new property, in the period in which we see as many of these phenomena. When you step in, violently slamming the door behind us is frozen in what appears to be an evil laugh. Within a few moments we realize that they were imprisoned and soon we also understand that it is not the only ones stuck inside. From the pages of a diary disseminated to the various rooms of the mansion, Marcus Roberts, a private investigator in Boston, warns us about what is actually happening: a mysterious evil entity took possession of the villa and now desire to extend its influence to 'outside. Perhaps the nightmare of which we do against our party has to do with the eccentricity has always been marked by Winthrop. However, in the guise of an ill-fated heiress, we must do everything in our power to find any ways leakage and prevent the evil can reach the nearby town of Longport (New England). From the very beginning, this excellent production of "Magnetic Scrolls," looks like a fascinating adventure game that owes much to the works of the controversial "Edgar Allan Poe . The game builds on the cornerstones of the horror genre, in particular at " Alone In The Dark" and "Resident Evil ", but instead of borrowing from the well-known three-dimensional approach that has consecrated them, go for the style of the old " dungeon crawler "of the early '90s.

"The Legacy", in other words, is divided into a series of vast mazes, characterized inter alia by a first person view, in which the movements take place in the box and the box changes in direction by rotation of ninety degrees, in a manner quite similar to what happened in " Dungeon Master" and "Eye Of The Beholder . Instead of those two masterpieces, do not control a group of brave heroes, but rather a single character, an ordinary person. Early in the game we are offered the opportunity to select our alter ego by a cast of eight candidates, stand out among them: gentlemen, ladies, professionals and students. Each character has a set of parameters that specify the physical and intellectual abilities. Some, moreover, being versed in the magical arts, they are also able to cast powerful spells. If a candidate does not meet our needs, you can edit the various skills appropriately distributed to special "skill point" to the company. Once in the heart of the game, we make your way through several corridors and several rooms that feature the mansion, of course, helping us with the excellent automatic map that tracks our every move. The solution of the puzzles that come across along the course of the adventure, as well as provide for the recovery and subsequent use of special items, also will emerge from reading a lot of information concerning them. Of course, the villa of Winthrop is far from uninhabited since the beginning, in fact, we come in many different creatures: zombies, ghouls, lurker, skeleton, ghosts, demons or whatever. Fortunately, we are not obliged to address them by force, even when it may be better to cut and run perhaps taking refuge in a quieter area, as long as our character does not remain petrified with fear. In those cases where the collision becomes inevitable, we resort to various types of weapons and sharp objects: bars, jars, bottles, swords, pistols, rifles and all that might be harmful to the aforementioned creatures. The combat system sees the use of both hands, with each can deliver two types of attack: an instinctive, through which you want to use the weapon well and better, that is hitting a bit ' at random, and one targeted. The latter allows, of course, take aim and therefore enjoy a higher precision, although the reaction times to widen as a result, we, of course, it will know when to prefer one over another, provided the limitation due to the fact that one of his hands, more often, will be undertaken to hold a container designed to transport our inventory.

As mentioned above, some characters can cast spells of various kinds, as long as I hold a special book. The game will cover the offensive (such as the classic "fireball"), defensive (such as the traditional magic armor) and regenerative (such as the classic "healing" so dear to the genre). The nature of the spells that the selected character will depend both on the level of his magical abilities / intellectual. To replenish the mana, the magical energy that allows us to perform spells, we are required to identify, and consequently to exploit it wisely, the appropriate artifacts enchanted. Of course, along the course of the game we will unearth and learn more sophisticated. To rebuild our health, as well as use the medical kit and the aforementioned healing spells, we can also rest in special rooms marked by a special symbol. As that we will defeat the monsters and head of the puzzles scattered throughout the mansion, redistribute the experience points earned between the different skills that we want to improve. Like any good RPG worthy of respect, happen also to meet the non-player characters that we can steal information through a system of multiple-choice dialogues. The control interface sees a number of resizable windows and a convenient point and click system. The actions on objects are activated with a convenient context menu. "The Legacy" is a title no doubt challenging, the difficulty level settles on the average value / high and is not without some occasional loss of balance in this regard. Longevity is equally high, includes a dozen levels, if that can be called, appropriately segregated between the different floors of the villa, different dungeons, the mausoleum and the ethereal and astral planes. Course was also provided the opportunity to save our progress, the manual calls for using it rather frequently. The graphics are nice on the whole, although in the long run you will feel a certain repetitiveness general. The soundtrack accompanying the action is also good quality and contributes greatly to drop the player in various situations of the game. Summing up, "The Legacy" is an interesting adventure game that finds its raison d'etre nell'inquietante horror atmosphere that characterizes it. A title, in short, that should not be totally ignored by fans of the genre! Edition multi-language: Inglese, Francais, Deutsch. Link:

Level After Red In Cubefield

The blood of the T-Rex

Fig. 1 - " Big Mike " è

uno scheletro di T-Rex

ottimamente conservato

La Schweitzer però ha trovato qualcosa strange in a very well-preserved fossil of Tyrannosaurus rex. Where there should have been a blood vessel saw the ruby-colored beads (see fig. 2 below), apparently very similar to the nucleated red blood cells in the blood of non-mammalian vertebrates. Possible that they were really residues of organic material, and perhaps even blood?

How should a scientist when he thinks he has discovered something that upsets date ideas for granted for centuries?

is not, in fact, paleontology, but I want to talk to the scientific method, so a couple of quote directly from the article:
After I requested opinions on the nature those red beads to several colleagues, the issue reached the ears of Jack Horner, curator of the museum and one of the leading experts in the world of dinosaurs, who wanted to see with his eyes. Frowning, stared through the eyepieces of the microscope for what seemed to me hours without saying a word. Then, up on me a frown and asked, "And what do you think they are?". I replied that I had no idea, but the size, shape and color were exactly the right ones because they were blood cells, and most were also in the right place. He gave a grunt: "Then show me are not." It was an irresistible challenge, which helped me, and I still helps to find the right way to pose the questions in my research work.

[...]

To demonstrate extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence. Scrupulous scientists make every effort to show that that their assumptions are wrong you prefer, before accepting that, after all, were correct.

So I spent the last twenty years trying to prove, with all experiments that have managed to make me come to mind, the falsity of the hypothesis that the material discovered by my colleagues and myself is really some component of the soft tissues of dinosaurs and other animals long gone.
not tell you how developed the research of Schweitzer but its my opinion, is an excellent summary of how science should work.

2 - Blood of dinosaur?
who does good science observes a phenomenon, and after formal hypothesis that explains it ... attempts to demolish it anyway. It does so because only if his intuition survives toughest test to demonstrate solid and has some hope of becoming a theory.

The sad end of lunacomplottisti - Part 3

Lancio dell'Apollo 15 Infierire in certi casi è bellissimo!

Sono andato a Search for Movies LEM's departure from the surface of the moon shot from inside the capsule to be able to compare a few frames with the new images, and here the result ...

in detail below that I cut you can see the stage very well landing module Falcon, the traces left by the astronauts and the lunar rover (recognizable double) and the experiments left on the surface of the satellite. To get an idea of \u200b\u200bthe resolution of the photo, the experiments ALSEP ( Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package ) shall be 95/100 meters from Falcon (97 from center to center if I did well the calculations).
What follows instead is a frame (resized, rotated 78 ° and increased contrast to be comparable with the previous image) the movie made by astronauts during take-off of the LEM August 2, 1971:
As you can see the correspondence between the two images is perfect in every detail. Unless of very slight differences in perspective (the picture is taken from an orbit of LRO perfectly parallel to the surface while the movie was made by one of the windows of the LEM and therefore a more oblique position) the two images are perfectly superimposed.

The movie that inspired the frame is a higher resolution version of the following:
beginning you can see the litter (of aluminum foil used as a protection of the various tests and abandoned on the moon) fired off the gas jet engine of the lunar module . Following a horizontal trajectory. Rotate on themselves but not flutter as they might do on Earth due to the atmosphere.

Then the shadow of the Falcon is silhouetted on the surface of the satellite.

then appear distinctly in the footsteps of astronauts and rovers and the lander left on the moon.

I took the frame at around 36.8 seconds. Add a

animated gif image that fades between the LRO and the frame to 39.5 seconds in the movie Apollo 15:
Transizione tra fotogramma del 1971 e foto del 2010
Apart from the slight change of perspective the two images are perfectly superimposed. The Sun was obviously higher during the ascent of the lunar module. The white spot that appears next to "d" descent is present in the top and bottom of each frame of all the movies I've seen.

Added 03/13/2011

Propose a question to those who claim that the footage of Apollo missions would be made on a model and that this would have been obtained photos of LRO.

would also be interesting to estimate how large should have been this "model" for achieving the eight minutes of the movie on this page, since it is a single sequence with no detachment.

LRO new photo of the landing site for Apollo 14

Sites
Apollo missions taken from LRO
A supreme disappointment of those who argue that " on the Moon we never went " Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter automatic probe continues ( LRO) to churn out memorable images of the landing sites for missions Apollo.

The probe, in polar orbit around the moon by 2009, is high resolution mapping the surface of our satellite. The images, which are truly spectacular, and every so often about places of historical importance.

On January 31, 1971 from Cape Canaveral was launched the Apollo 14 mission directed towards the Moon. The lunar module Antares , carrying Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell, perched near the crater Fra Mauro February 5, 1971, exactly 40 years ago. The area was taken last January 25 by LRO.

images of this site had already been taken in July 2009, but this time the made is amazing, thanks to the incidence of favorable sunlight, which provides a good contrast:
Landing site of Apollo 14
is clearly visible on the right stage LEM's landing that was left on the Moon and used as a launching pad for takeoff. The area is crossed by the tracks left by the astronauts. The white dot indicated by the arrow, the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package ( ALSEP ).

The following image shows a larger field:
Here you can see the trails by the astronauts to "walk" toward the crater Cone (300 m in diameter and 40 feet deep, off the picture) and for the return.

Cranberries Cause Dark Stool

Confirm Italian Relativity

Albert Einstein
Since it was announced in 1915, the Theory of Relativity has been continually subjected to testing, always successfully overcome (see also Einstein's theory takes the challengers at bay ).

This attitude of science is often frainteso (talvolta in malafede) da sostenitori della pseudoscienza e crackpot vari.

precession of the perihelion of Mercury
(emphasized)

The very first experimental confirmation of relativity came in 1915 when Einstein's theory was able to accurately predict the amount of precession of the perihelion of Mercury.

Kepler's first law tells us that the orbit of a planet is an ellipse with the Sun at one focus. The point at which the planet passes closest to the Sun is called perihelion (and aphelion when it passed the farthest).

The orbit of a planet is, however, disturbed by the effect of gravity the other planets. In particular, the perihelion of Mercury (the closest planet to the Sun) behaves as shown above. In practice, the axis of its orbit around the Sun rotates slowly, so that every year at perihelion, the planet passes a bit 'before.

using classical physics you can not justify a precession of 5557 seconds of arc per century. Observations show, however, that this advance is 5600 seconds of arc, or 43 "per century more than expected. It seems little, but it was a quantity previously measurable (and measured) in the early twentieth century. Until that moment no one was been able to fully explain this phenomenon. Someone had even suggested the existence of a planet - never seen - even inside of Mercury. The Theory of Relativity Einstein's perfectly justified in those 43 seconds of arc more.

David Lucchesi and Roberto Perotti, Institute of Physics of Interplanetary Space (IFSI / INAF, Rome), have verified the relativistic precession of the satellites in orbit around the Earth.

The satellite LAGEOS I
They did this by using the orbital data collected in thirteen years of operation of the satellite LAGEOS II (Laser Geodynamics Satellite ).

The mass of the Earth is 330 000 times smaller than that of the Sun, and LAGEOS rotates around our planet, 8 times more slowly than Mercury does not face around our star. Relativistic effects for low speeds and masses (relatively) small, almost imperceptible, but the orbital data of LAGEOS II were obtained with a very precise laser ranging system. The mirrors are installed on the satellite retroreflectors (practically the reflectors), similar to those left by the Apollo missions to the moon with great precision capable of putting a laser beam at the source that issued it. By measuring the time taken by light to go back, you can determine very accurately the distance of the satellite.

The discrepancy observed between measurements and theoretical predictions was 0.2% (ie, the theoretical data coincide with the experimental ones at 99.8%).

Well, Einstein was right again!
