How Much Is A 44 Desert Eagle

Fight 'N' Jokes

Tornando più indietro nel tempo, ci fu poi " Fightin' Spirit " per i sistemi Amiga, sempre a opera del medesimo sviluppatore, a fighter who was able to play on the Commodore 16 bits of the impressive style of the legendary coin-op of SNK. Even before, always for the same series of computers, there was " Shadow Fighter", the even more surprising masterpiece of Naps. A "fighting game" that was able to demonstrate how the creation of a title to the "Street Fighter II " was far from impossible on those machines. Obviously, all these fighting games adopted a staid approach to this category of video games, never strays from the typical stereotypes of the genre. Fight 'N' Jokes taken, however, a slightly different way because it broke with its usual atmosphere purely humorous, "the funny", if not insane, like a veritable parody of "Beat'em up", but not all. The story behind the game, as always, is frankly something dispensable, however, focuses on the invasion of "Qox," the home of the "Jokes", the characters referred to by the game, by a bad guy by the name of "Dirty Father." His evil plan is essentially to get rid of all the inhabitants of the planet so as to transform it into a landfill space in the service of his subjects: the "Space Dustbins". The jerk in question will be pleasantly surprised by the brave resistance of some native and therefore decided to organize a tournament to make things more interesting. The "Joke" winner will save their home world and, otherwise, "Dirty Father" will still prevail on the latest defense of "Qox" and will be free to fulfill his diabolical plan.

Fight 'N' Jokes will make available, at least initially, ten fighters, others will become available once you have completed all the various game modes. The cast of characters has certainly bizarre, the real caricatures inspired by the classic stereotypes of games, the most original stand out: Miopinja (A ninja fitted with glasses at the bottom of the bottle), Lampaddin (a genius who drags his lamp), Judy (a housewife who goes around brandishing a rolling pin), Maggilla (a sort of cross between a dragon and a dinosaur obese) and other slightly more serious as Arturo (a knight) and Ryno (a warrior who seems to be out by the same "Street Fighter II"). The game offers six ways to have fun, plus a training section with which to practice. The arcade mode, which then would be the classic "Story Mode", features a different ending for each character. The inevitable "Versus" allows us to fight against a second human player. With the "Tournament mode "to organize a knockout competition that can count up to a maximum of sixteen players, while with the" Team Battle "give rise to a battle which is between two teams of up to ten characters each. The" Survival "there sees combat the entire cast, but without our energy is never restored. Finally, using the "Time Attack, we try to defeat all opponents in the shortest possible time. During the fighting raised a number of techniques that exploit kicks, punches, combos and various outlets. In Fight 'N' Jokes are not lacking, however, even more outlandish moves that seek the help of animals (birds, fish, cattle, rabbits and cats), a wide variety of items (irons, forks, guns, gloves, umbrellas, cactus, shovels, chainsaws and bottles) and even some disturbing supernatural presences. Each character also has a variable number of special moves, usually two to three, which are made with the same mechanical properties of the masterpieces of the genre. In addition, it can also be used a so-called "Dementiality", a move intended to mock the final opponent helpless, that a technique that temporarily stun him. During the meetings, we can only use two buttons, one for punching and the other for kicks, to overcome the lack of additional buttons that allow you to differentiate according to diversa potenza, ci viene offerta la possibilità di incrementare il livello del "power-up", rappresentato nel gioco con un vero e proprio termometro, così da rendere i nostri attacchi temporaneamente più efficaci. Oltre alla barra dell'energia, è presente anche quella della "Stamina", una volta raggiunto il minimo, quest'ultima lascerà il personaggio in balia dell'avversario per alcuni secondi. Oltre ai dieci combattenti iniziali ed agli altri sbloccabili (come ad esempio XStranger ed Evil Miop), alle sei modalità di gioco ed ai differenti finali per ciascun personaggio, la longevità è garantita anche dalla presenza di ben otto livelli di difficoltà.

Fight 'N' Jokes, objectively, is a feast for the eyes and ears. The graphics are not only makes good use of color but also adopts a cute style "cartoon"-style caricature strictly. The characters, besides being of considerable size, are also of considerable animation. The background flow smoothly and have a certain depth due to both the prospective floor classic "Street Fighter II" that the numerous layers of parallax. The scene also has animated numerous details and is adorned with various graphical effects. The sub-sonic play some great audio tracks as well as a series of effective sound effects. I leave by simply adding that, even at the time of its publication (1997 or so), Fight 'N' Jokes a title was scandalously ignored by the major gaming magazines of the time. In this respect, in fact, I do not remember any of the reviews and least of any mention in the news of the period. Hurt very badly, however, I hope I made him last a minimum of justice with my humble tribute. Great Fight'N'Jokes, humor and a must if you love this genre!

PS: Before leaving the usual download, I take this opportunity to thank both of Stenco GamEnd that Elden4 for their fundamental contribution, without your help we could never have a fully functional version of this very rare fighting.
