Grand Prix II

Una prima importante novità, previous edition, related to the presence of officially licensed, this new game reproduces, in fact, performance and results of the 1994 season, in other words, it allowed us to compete for the historic stables such as Ferrari, Benetton, McLaren, Williams, Jordan and so on to the equally mythical Minardi, playing the champions such as Michael Schumacher Mikka Hakkinen, Eddie Irvine, Damon Hill, Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger. The license, of course, not limited only to this, Grand Prix II, included, in fact, all the official sponsors of the federation, of course, made a fine show if ever present on billboards, on the livery of the cars and even on the helmets of the pilots. Just as in real life, also took into account the new rules introduced following the tragic death of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger, which occurred during the Grand Prix of San Marino in Imola nell'autodromo played.

The most interesting section of the simulation, namely the development of the car, suffered a series of improvements, in addition to taking account of adjustments relating to the tilt of the wings , the relationship between the gears, the distribution of the braking, allowing you to manage numerous details, so to speak advanced that related shocks, springs, anti-roll bars and even above the ground. Through a special section, always inherent in the "setup" the car, we also analyze the telemetry data that is related to the performance of the car and we were also able to plan the strategy of supply to be used during the race. The physics of the cars that ran the behavior was also improved, now, by way of example, the cars were no longer "glued" to the ground but instead were susceptible to bumps and real reversals, often with outcomes harmful to the continuation of the competition. Technically, Grand Prix II, was exposed at the time. The three-dimensional engine was far more detailed and rich of the previous addition to managing more complex three-dimensional environments, made extensive use of texture mapping and light-sourcing, at least on the latter cars. The definition of the graphics could be improved by using the standard Super VGA at the expense of overall performance. To meet the hardware requirements, we were given also a certain freedom of configuration. The audio sector was also an unquestioning level. What else to add, GP2 was that and more, a classic!
